We at Eyeist LLC (“Eyeist”, “our” or “we”) respect your privacy and take the issue of Internet privacy very seriously.
Eyeist operates an online service that provides photography editing and review services (the “Service”) performed by reviewers selected by Eyeist (the “Reviewers”).
This document specifies the following:
Eyeist collects information from our registered users (“Members”) at several different points on the Site.
In order to use the Service, both Members and Reviewers must first complete the registration form. As part of registration we request Members' contact information, such as name, password, username, Skype name and valid email address. This information is used to contact the Member about the services on the Site, and is also used as the Member's sign-in information. During the registration process, you have the ability to "opt-out" of receiving Eyeist information and updates.
Services Through the Site
You provide us with information during the process of registering the Service. We break down users of the Service into three categories, Users (who are just visiting the Site), and Members and Reviewers (you may register as both a Member and a Reviewer). Members must provide financial information such as a credit card number and expiration date in order to pay for and use the Service. Reviewers must provide contact information, including name, mailing address, username, password, valid email address, Skype address, information about yourself (e.g. job title and business address), and preferences about the types of services you want to provide, in order to receive payments from Eyeist. The information we collect from both Members and Reviewers is to provide users of the Service with the best possible service.
Communication Using the Service
Certain communications between Members and Reviewers may be recorded by either or both Members and Reviewers and in such case is maintained by Eyeist. Eyeist does not screen, monitor or edit the content of communications between Members and Reviewers. Such communications are personal and private unless both parties agree to additional distribution, for example in connection with any Reviewer’s Choice content (described below). Information that is relayed between the Member and the Reviewer during the provision of the Service is kept completely confidential, and no other users of Eyeist have access to this information.
Publicly Accessible Information
Eyeist makes Reviewer’s Choice content available to all visitors to the Site and on the Internet, including social media sites such as Facebook. Reviewer’s Choice allows Reviewers to post selected Member Content that can be viewed by any visitors to the Site and elsewhere.
Third Party Sites
The Site and the Service may contain links to third party websites and other online services. If you choose to visit a third party service or an advertiser by “clicking on” a banner ad or other type of advertisement, or click on another third party link, you will be directed accordingly to the applicable third party’s website or other online service. The fact that we link to a website, other online service, or content or present a banner ad or other type of advertisement is not an endorsement, authorization or representation of our affiliation with the applicable third party, nor is it an endorsement of such party’s privacy or information security policies or practices. We do not exercise control over third party websites or services. These other websites or services may place cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you. Other websites and services follow different rules regarding the use or disclosure of the personal information you submit to them. We encourage you to read the privacy policies or statements of the other websites and services you use.
A cookie is a piece of data stored on a Site visitor's hard drive containing information about the Site visitor’s use of the Site and Service. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on the Site. Once the Site visitor closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on the Site, a Member would not have to sign in his or her email and password more than once, thereby saving time while on the Site. If a Site visitor rejects the cookie, he or she may still visit the Site. The only drawback to this is that a Member will have to sign in each time he or she visits the Site.
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are also linked to personally identifiable information in order to better the Member's experience when using the Site. We may also retain any emails, letters, or other correspondence between you and Eyeist to ensure quality control and the best possible service, although we have no obligation to do so.
Use of Information Available Through Eyeist
To ensure both Members and Reviewers with the best service possible on the Site, and to facilitate communication between Members and Reviewers, Eyeist provides a messaging service for use by Members and Reviewers. By agreeing to Eyeist's Terms and Conditions and using the Service, Members agree to use the Reviewer’s Choice area and all communication facilities provided by Eyeist exclusively for interaction associated with the Service and its delivery. Members may not use information gathered through a Session to defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal and civil rights of any other Member. Members may not use information gathered through a Session to sell any goods or services for any commercial purpose outside the scope of the Service. Email addresses and personal information may not be used to forward surveys contests, pyramid schemes or chain letters, or to post the same message repeatedly (a practice referred to as "spamming"). Eyeist may terminate the ability of any Member or Representative to use the Service and/or the Eyeist messaging system.
We currently do not share aggregated demographic information with third parties, but may do so in the future. This will not be linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. We use a credit card processing company to bill Members for use of the Service. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. We reserve the right to partner with another party to provide specific services. When a Member signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

When our registration form asks Members to enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number), that information is encrypted.
